Commendation 1 Layout for an Information Centre for the Barbarathermen in Trier Layout: Jenny Plokarz, Juliane zu Stolberg, TU Dresden Cladding: TECU® Classic Part of the area comprising the famous Barbara spas are to be protected by a building construction from the street. The north façade is to be kept absolutely closed by a curtain-like façade made of TECU® Classic, which will serve as a very noticeable protective walling. |

Commendation 2 Layout for a Museum for the Documenta, Kassel (Germany) Layout: Kathrin Wiertelarz, Universität Kassel Cladding: TECU® Oxid, TECU® Brass, TECU® Net The patterns in the flow of movement of various user groups were analyzed and taken into account in this museum design. The façade aims at guaranteeing optimal lighting and shading for the exhibits. Various different TECU® surfaces indicate different uses for the divers museum spaces. |
