This project was designed for a hike through a relatively forgotten marsh in southern France. Landmarks are designed to point out special sights along the route while they reflect the overall character of the surrounding landscape as well as the spirit of the four elements. Because of its natural traits, copper is an ideal trademark and indicator for this dynamic subject. The different colours and luster of the four surfaces TECU® Classic, TECU® Oxid, TECU® Patina and TECU® Zinn symbolize fire, earth, water and air. The objects can be used as resting points, shelter from bad weather, or viewing platforms. They communicate the elemental message through their forms as much as their colours.
