The building is used to make and bottle wine on one floor mostly below ground level. The bottling room is a 500 m2 area with direct access to the outdoor vineyards of the complex. TECU® Patina was employed in this case mainly for the way its fine surface finish perfectly matched the natural surroundings of the building. Copper also proved ideal for its ability to be moulded effortlessly to the form of the chosen roof and façade. This wavy form also reflects the unique Rima arrangement used for storing bottled wine in the Catalonia region. The Rima arrangement is characteristic of the production method of the GRAMONA wine cellar.
