Systems: TECU® Seam Cladding:
Application
The seam technique is a traditional form of roof and façade cladding. The technique is probably as old as copper sheet processing itself in the history of architecture. Seamed cladding has adapted over the years to suit the application and design possibilities of contemporary architecture.
Generally façade constructions comprise the following components:
- Substrate, one-part or multi-part
For some time now copper roofs have also been designed without ventilation when this is not required from a design aspect or when conditions for ventilated constructions do not exist. The height of the roof construction is reduced, costs are cut and time-consuming ventilation openings are unnecessary.
