Systems: TECU® System Shingles:
Application
TECU® System Shingles are prefabricated cladding elements for roof and façade applications.
Highly accurate machine notching and folding produces shingles with uniform sizes. The base materials are TECU® sheets and strips in accordance with DIN EN 1172.

The shingles can be installed on any standard full surface substrate for metal cladding. For roofing applications it is recommended that the pitch should not be less than 25°.


Generally, the structural system for façade cladding with TECU® System Shingles consists of:

  • Support structure
  • Substrate
  • Thermal insulation
  • Ventilation area
  • Full surface decking
  • Underlay (if required)
  • TECU® System Shingles
