The classic TECU® Profiled Sheet cladding is composed of the following components:
- One-part or multi-part substrate
The cladding construction presented here follows the concept of a bracket mounted, ventilated cladding, creating an optimised system that securely envelops the closed, wind-tight inner construction.
A ventilation area is generally required for several reasons: to reduce humidity, to allow penetrating rainwater to diffuse out of the construction, to create a capillary separation between the cladding and the breathable thermal insulation or support structure and to diffuse condensation on the underside of the cladding.
