Since continuous decking is not required, TECU® Profiled Panels are usually laid on battens and fixed with special cleats. Seaming machines are not necessary for the installation of TECU® Profiled Panels. Because the profiling structures are optimised, panel dimensions are invariable.
TECU® Profiled Panels are well-suited for renovation work as well as new flat roof, facade and pitched roof constructions.
The single-skin, non-ventilated construction has been the design of choice for many years. It has economic advantages, since there is no constructional expenditure for ventilation and penetrations. The possibility of using a single-skin, non-ventilated construction is especially important in the refurbishing of flat roofs.
For ventilated constructions, the application of a breather membrane is recommended above the ventilation area with a connection to the guttering system to remove any secondary condensation.
